Life
After moving to San Diego in 1987, having a home there and a long-time relationship, I moved to the Palm Springs area in 2002 to 2003, then back to San Diego for about a year, and now I'm back in the Desert again. I attended Maric College here and obtained my certification as a Professional Medical Coder in August 2006; though not an "A" student by any means, I was asked to speak at my graduation ceremony, and there I revealed (to many for the first time) how I dealt with being a homeless person and being HIV-positive. st of my stuff, having lost many personal and family mementos through theft or other losses. I intend to attend any 30th year reunion our class may have.
May 2010: LONG STORY, but have been back in the Twin Cities now for two and a half years. I arrived at the start of the 21st Century's Depression Era. It took awhile, but now have a great position as THE medical coder for West Side Community Health Setvices in St. Paul; it's everything I've wanted to have in one coding job, and a bit more. It's such a great feeling to love what you do & get paid well for it!
